Kannapolis and the roads into Concord

Kannapolis lies north of Concord on what was once the main road from Charlotte to Salisbury: the original NC 15 ran from Concord north through Kannapolis and Landis. Today NC 73 crosses Kannapolis Parkway before its interchange with I-85 as it enters Concord, and the CKRider bus links the two cities. Kannapolis has its own Amtrak station, which Concord does not.
